habitat: the natural environment where an organism grows, thrives, and makes its home

In addition to classes and the workshop, celium hosts both virtual and physical spaces where those who live and create between categories, genders, and forms can grow, create, and flourish.

  • celium residencies: celium hosts residencies at a retired farm in an undisclosed location on Abenaki land. In the interest of learning how to do this best before opening to a wider group of people, these residencies are currently by invitation only as we figure out how to make it work.

  • bimonthly writing group held every two weeks: These 2-hour sessions are loosely structured to encourage participants to spend some time talking about the writing projects they are working on, and some time quietly writing together. These are free, but they are open only to current and past celium students. See below for a full yearly schedule!
